better communities.
That's the
Junior League.
The Junior League of Billings was founded in March of 1954. The
League was admitted to membership in the Association of Junior Leagues
February 6, 1970.
Vision:
The Junior League of Billings is a dynamic, growing community leader
dedicated to improving the lives of area youth and their family
support systems.
Focus:
The focus area of the Junior League of Billings is Project Youth.
This focus targets improving the quality of life for youth and their
family support systems in Billings. We just completed a project
with Venture Theatre taking theater into School District #2 entitled
"Venture into Schools". We continue to help other nonprofits
in the community such as the Early Childhood Development program
at Head Start and the Women's and Family Shelter. We have taken
on a national project "Kids in the Kitchen", which is
a program to teach youth healthy life styles. Please visit our Projects
page for more specific information on our projects.
